1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Mantrum application (“App”) or visiting our website at mantrum.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Mantrum is a meditation and prayer beads application that provides:

• A library of Vedic mantras with Sanskrit text, transliteration, and translations.
• A virtual mala Japa counting experience.
• Progress tracking for meditation sessions.
• Community leaderboards and achievement features.
• Premium subscription features.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
• Use automated scripts or bots to inflate Japa counts on leaderboards.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users in community features.
• Reproduce or redistribute mantra content without permission.
• Use the App to spread misinformation about spiritual practices.

5. Subscription & Payments

Mantrum offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. For Premium subscribers:

• Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store/Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.
• Premium features may change over time with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Mantrum App, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by Mantrum and protected by intellectual property laws. The Vedic mantras presented in the App are part of the public domain ancient Indian tradition, but our specific translations, transliterations, and curated presentation are our intellectual property.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial spiritual practice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SPIRITUAL EFFICACY OR MEDICAL BENEFITS OF ANY MANTRAS.

Mantrum is a spiritual tool and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional guidance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantrum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
